Two Affirmations for Choir and Brass Sextet. January 30, Temple Beth-Sholom, Dallas, TX, combined choirs under the supervision of Cantor Don Croll.

The Silent Flickers, 13 Diversions for Piano Four Hands performed by the Duo Pianistico di Firenze. February 13 in Montevarchi and February 24 in Milan, Italy.

March 27-April 3: the author was heard on the WorldWideWeb on "jewishperspectiveradio.com".

On June 3 the book was featured on ABC "Nightline," in a profile about conductor Michael Tilson Thomas and his grandparents, Bessie and Boris Thomashevsky, founding stars of the Yiddish Theater.
